Inseparable friends Athos, Porthos, and Aramis are joined by D'Artagnan, a young nobleman travelling to Paris in 1625 and together they fight to guard King Louise XIII from the wicked plots of Cardinal Richelieu. This swashbuckling tale makes a wonderful gift for fans of Alexandre Dumas.

I use the British Library often for research, but I LOVE adopting books as gifts for people. My most recent adoption was in honor of my English professor in college. I am not just a literary scholar because of her influence--I am also a better human being.

My daughter and I both love the ambiance of the British Library and feel proud to be Readers. Supporting the Adopt a Book scheme is the least I can do.
