J M Barrie's most famous novel of the boy who wouldn't grow up was first published in the UK in 1911. This early edition was illustrated by F. D. Bedford.
I use the British Library often for research, but I LOVE adopting books as gifts for people. My most recent adoption was in honor of my English professor in college. I am not just a literary scholar because of her influence--I am also a better human being.
