Who can speak more eloquently of love than the Bard himself? “Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?” is just one of his many beautiful sonnets in this 19th-century edition which also contains poems and songs from his plays.

I use the British Library often for research, but I LOVE adopting books as gifts for people. My most recent adoption was in honor of my English professor in college. I am not just a literary scholar because of her influence--I am also a better human being.
