Celebrated English naturalist Mark Catesby explored the natural habitat of North America in the mid 18th century, culminating in a collection of 63 gorgeous etchings found in this volume. A lovely adoption for those interested in illustration and plants.

I use the British Library often for research, but I LOVE adopting books as gifts for people. My most recent adoption was in honor of my English professor in college. I am not just a literary scholar because of her influence--I am also a better human being.
