This is a collection of poems and rhymes on love and courtship, and marriage with works by Robert Burns, Samuel Butler, William Blake, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Sir Walter Raleigh and Percy Shelley, among others.

I use the British Library often for research, but I LOVE adopting books as gifts for people. My most recent adoption was in honor of my English professor in college. I am not just a literary scholar because of her influence--I am also a better human being.
