The Dashwood sisters follow their hearts in their own ways as they go through love, romance and heartbreak. Jane Austen wrote the first draft, then titled “Elinor and Marianne” at the age of 19 and it became her first published novel.

I use the British Library often for research, but I LOVE adopting books as gifts for people. My most recent adoption was in honor of my English professor in college. I am not just a literary scholar because of her influence--I am also a better human being.
