Supporters from the US can make a tax deductible gift to the American Trust for the British Library, a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organisation.

The American Trust raises funds to support acquisitions, conservation and other important projects. Supporters giving $100 or more enjoy an attractive package of benefits.

Recent grants from the American Trust for the British Library have included:

• internship Bursaries for Illuminated Manuscripts
• funding for a researcher to scope out the Caribbean Collections
• a grant towards the cataloguing of the Eccles Wilde Collection
